Writing & Research for Commercial Art

Graphic designers need to be able to research and write well. Potential clients come from a wide variety of professions and backgrounds, and you will need to know their business as well as they do. You will also need to be able to describe your work and communicate your ideas clearly and concisely.

If you feel the need to brush up on your writing, grammar, or public speaking skills, we have several tutorials and practice tests available through the Learning Express Library database. Explore under the College Students and Adult Core Skills sections.

You may also visit the Writing Center located in the library for one on one help and consult the eBook listed below.
