Although library resources are not technically open, library resources are licensed for use by faculty and currently enrolled students at no cost. Therefore library resources could be used to augment course material, reducing or replacing the cost of textbooks. For most electronic resources, faculty can direct students to a source via a link or specific search instructions. However, some resources may have limits on the number of people accessing them simultaneously.
