During the fall and spring semesters, the library is open Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 8:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. For holidays and hours between semesters, check the Library Calendar.

All students, faculty and staff get a college ID card. This card also serves as your library card.

Wilson county residents can get a library card by providing their valid NC State photo ID.

Yes, if you present a valid NC State photo ID.

Students, faculty, and staff can check out up to ten items (books and DVDs) at a time.

Wilson County residents can check out up to five (books and DVDs) items at a time.

General collection books - four weeks; one renewal.

DVDs - one week; no renewal.

Grades will not be issued unless all library materials are returned to the Library before graduation or completion of studies.

There are several ways to put on hold or renew library titles:

1. Through the Library Catalog. Go to the My Account link, use your College ID number (students, faculty or staff) or Library Card number (community patrons) for User name and a four-digit PIN for the password (request the PIN at the Circulation desk).

2. At the Circulation desk.

3. Via email at library@wilsoncc.edu, or

4. Over the phone - 252-246-1235.

Items cannot be renewed if they are overdue or on hold by another user.

You can reserve library books or DVDs if you use the My Account  option on the Library Catalog Page. Use your College ID number for User name and a four-digit PIN for password (Request the PIN at the Circulation desk).

You can also put items on hold via email at library@wilsoncc.edu or over the phone - 252-246-1235.

Items will be held for one week before they are returned to circulation.

CLF - Classical Literature Fiction

EC - Early Child Collection

GC - General Collection

F - Popular Fiction

REF- Reference

RES - Reserves

SBC - Small Business Collection

SC - Story Collection

YAN - Young Adult Nonfiction

YAF - Young Adult Fiction

The library does not purchase textbooks for your classes. You may purchase textbooks from the bookstore. Sometimes, an instructor orders a textbook for books on reserve.

You can print and scan from the library computers. Black and white printing costs $0.10 per page and color printing costs $0.25 per page. Scanning is free.

Copier use is available in the library at $0.10 per page. All copying must follow the United States Copyright Act.

The library does not provide fax services.

Book fines are $0.10 a day. DVD fines are $0.25 a day. The overdue maximum is $10.00.

For lost items, it is required to pay the cost of the item plus a $5.00 processing fee.

Three Study Rooms are available on a first-come/first served or reservation basis.

One 5-person study room.

Two 3-person study rooms.

When trying to access electronic library resources off campus, use your College ID and password.

County residents can obtain a library card at the Wilson County Public Library to use NC Live resources off campus.

There is an Ask-a-librarian service that is available 24/7 except federal holidays, Christmas and New Year.
